X Pro available? No, for scalability reasons this product is
only available for use with SQL server.
How many impressions/day can
the application serve? On a fast Pentium computer with SQL Server
installed on a second server, the application can serve over 1 million impressions/day.
Does the product support
multiple sizes banners? Yes, the application supports both
multiple sizes and multiple placements. For example you can have a
468X60 at both the top and bottom of your pages.
Can the application serve
Rich Media ads? Yes, currently the paid portion of the exchange
can serve Rich Media ads. The members can only show standard image
type ads.
Do you have an SQL 6.5
version available? No, all of our products were developed for
SQL 7.0 and the upcoming SQL 2000.
Does the product use
cookies? No currently we do not use cookies in any way.
Does the product use session
variables? Yes, just like Ban Man Pro session variables are
required to track users who have non-javascript browsers.
They are also required if you turn on the "Cheating"
option.
Do I also need to purchase Ban
Man Pro? No, Link X Pro includes a copy of Ban Man Pro version
2.0.
Is there a trial version
available? No, we do not offer a trial version because
of the open source code nature of our application. However,
we would be happy to setup a copy on our servers which you can try
out for a few days.
